Volunteering benefits all involved!

United Way of Gibson County mobilizes volunteers from across the community to enable opportunity through collaboration with community partners like
Isaiah 1:17, The Salvation Army Princeton Indiana, and The Gibson County Youth Center.

Volunteers give time, and community nonprofits providing direct services to youth and families are able to spend more on services and less on administration.
Together we uplift the people and places in our community.

Will you join us in celebrating this spirit of giving and increase resources serving our community?

Generations connect through volunteering!

During this fall's Week of Caring, youth connected with the PCHS Tigers Give Back Club joined us to celebrate the elders in our community with a Luau.  It was beautiful to see our local youth connect with an older generation, sharing a meal, stories, dancing together, and learning from one another.

Youth leaders make a difference!

Volunteering helps our youth gain skills necessary for the job market such as leadership, communication skills, dependability, time management, and decision making

Events like the United Way of Gibson County's Youth Day of Caring allow students to develop life skills, show responsibility, and aid in character building.  They also offer opportunities for our youth to act as role models to their younger peers.

This #GivingTuesday, our high school seniors will provide leadership and role models as United Way of Gibson County launces its first K-12 #DayofCaring in cooperation with local schools.

We are grateful for our youth volunteers!

In 2023, United Way of Gibson County was able to relaunch its spring Youth Day of Caring.  More than 100 high school seniors from all different backgrounds participated in a #dayofservice that made our community a place where everyone works together to achieve shared community goals.  #gibsonproud.

We are so grateful for our volunteers!!

This #GivingTuesday and holiday season, we're offering a chance to give generously in recognition of the incredible volunteers in our community.

United Way of Gibson County is proud to organize service and leadership opportunities throughout the year, and this #GivingTuesday, we're launching a new set of service opportunities in collaboration with our local schools, giving children in youth in grades K-12 a chance to contribute to the community and providing high schoolers an opportunity to act as role models in service to their younger peers.
