September 14th-18th, 2026

United Way of Gibson County will be kicking off their 2026 campaign with a Week of Caring, September 2026.  Volunteers will choose a day(s) to join us out in the community-wide event in which United Way connects businesses and volunteers with nonprofit agencies in need of help.  Volunteers donate their time and talents to meaningful projects that  nonprofits might not otherwise have the resources to accomplish.

We are in need of your help to make this event a success.  A calendar of projects will be listed below closer to time.  If you are interested in participating for the day, or even half-day, to help with these volunteer projects please call the United Way office @ 812-386-6120 or 812-385-6596 or email jschafer@unitedwaygibson.org.  All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and lunch provided at the volunteer site.
